yeah, that's exactly what you need a mayor/executive for. left to their own devices, a humongous group of people with zillions of different interests is not going to be able to make the tough decisions necessary to benefit the Whole. fortunately, we have a mayor in office who is not afraid of making the decisions that need to be made.

Also, FYI, unlike the dishonest executive in charge of our federal government, bloomberg has imposed taxes that impact NYC's rich much more than the poor and middle class -- the property tax and the income tax increase for people earning more than $100K.
