I hope the gentleman from Queens reconsiders and decides to throw in his lot with the rest of us New Yorkers in seceding from the State of New York.

: I take issue with your statements in the FAQ that Manhattan and Bronx residents are not favored in such a plan. You state that Manhattan residents already pay a 18.5% real estate tax increase - The majority of Manhattan residents pay RENT - they don't pay a dime in real estate tax. On the other hand Queens residents (most of whom are homeowners) are going to be subjected to both this toll and the oppressive increases in the real estate tax.
: I will ONLY support a toll plan if and ONLY if the Bronx crossings are tolled as well - If Queensites and Long Islanders must pay then Bronxites and Westchesterites should pay as well. Either all pay or no-one pays - NO IFS ANDS OR BUTS!!
: If all New Yorkers are not treated EQUALLY then perhaps it is time for Queens to seceede!
